The Hidden Broken Coffee Cup
The Hidden Broken Coffee Cup
A short while ago I noticed one of my favourite coffee cups was not on its stand, I hunted high and low for it, but could not find it anywhere. At the time, it did not occur to me that it could be broken as my wife had never mentioned it to me. I then forgot about it till I was putting the bin bags out can and noticed a bit of white pot in the bottom of the bin, further investigation revealed that my cup was broken and my wife had tried to hide it from me by placing in in a carrier bag in the bin bag.
The cup being smashed was not a significant issue accident happen all the time, and it was only a cup after all. Still, the issue was that my wife had deliberately hidden this broken cup from me. For some reason, she thought it was better to say nothing and hide the cup.
She had chosen to turn a minor accident into and the issue of deceit which was a primary rule-breaker in our marriage. We do not deceive each other if one of us does something we own up to it. We never try to cover it up.
Had she been upfront nothing would have been saying the cup would have been replaced with a new one after all accidents happen all the time.
Now we had an issue of deceit to deal with, and that was not acceptable. I left it a week to give my wife time to own you I even mentioned we seemed to be one cup down, but she chose to say nothing. Sunday morning after breakfast, I asked her to sit at the kitchen table and said I had something I would like to discuss with her and placed the broken cup on the table.
I asked her if she would like to explain why I found this in the bin hidden and why she had chosen not to tell me about it. She said at the time she thought it was easier than owning up. I reminded her that it was just a broken cup and not a problem, but the problem was the deceit, which was unacceptable and deserved a punishment spanking.
I instructed her to drop her panties lift her skirt bend over the kitchen table as she was going to get six with the large wooden spoon I had in the kitchen for spankings.
I instructed her to count them out as I did them with an I am sorry after each one. I then applied six of the best with the wooden spoon.
The punishment was not for breaking the cup that was an everyday accident life happens. The punishment was given for the deceit and not owning up to what had happened. Deception has no place in a marriage and needs to be dealt with firmly. Left this behaviour breaks down the trust and respect in marriage, and finally, the love will fade.
